How does it work?

The operator manually places pallet material on one side of the turntable. The table is then rotated into the robot cell, where the robot nails the pallet, lifts it out of the fixture, and stacks it within the cell—while the operator loads the other side of the turntable with material, and the cycle starts anew.

Pneumatic drilling unit

A pneumatic drilling unit is an accessory for the RN4017.Compressed air generates the force that drives the drilling through the material with precision and speed. This allows for creating holes or performing other tasks on pallets in an efficient and reliable manner. The pneumatic drilling module is an integrated part of the RN4017's functions and enhances its versatility and ability to adapt to various manufacturing requirements.

Corner cutter

An accessory for the RN4017 that quickly and efficiently cuts the corners of the pallet. To further increase efficiency, a ReaJet printer can be added to print both sides of the pallet with the correct IPPC markings and company logo. The corner cutting takes approximately 15 seconds and is placed inside the robot cell, allowing the robot to position the pallet on the corner cutter and then pick it up for stacking. The corner cutter is integrated with the robot's control system.

Conveyor Belts
To efficiently transport pallet stacks out of the robot cell, it can be equipped with conveyor belts.
A conveyor belt streamlines pallet production by eliminating the need for the robot to pause and retrieve the finished pallet stack.
The robot stacks pallets onto the conveyor, and once the maximum stack height is reached, the stack is moved, allowing the robot to begin stacking a new one.

- Inner conveyor belt: Length 3.5 m, width 1.3 m
- Outer conveyor belt: Length 4.0 m, width 1.3 m
- Light curtain for pallet stack exit with "muting" function.

Tool Changer
To handle pallets weighing more than 50 kg, the RN4017 can be equipped with a tool changer and an additional tool specifically for pallet handling.
A two-pillar stand with two tool slots is mounted beside the robot to hold the unused tool. The robot is equipped with an automatic tool coupling on its arm.
